Unfortunately, the hostel has burned twice - in 1826 and 1885, and was rebuilt after each fire. In 1914 an eight-kilometer road from Spindleruv Mlyn was brought to the hostel. Today, the hostel has been transformed into a hotel with a restaurant, a bar and a comfortable conference center.
